magickal correspondences for rituals
-
Just wondering if, apart from the obvious Liber 777, anyone has any particular sources they like to consult for magickal correspondences when creating a ritual. You've decided to invoke a deity; where do you look to figure out how? Or do you feel Liber 777 covers all the bases?

I see you haven't actually read the entire thread.

i had heard that liber 777 has some incorrect correspondances as per crowley's style.

Which correspondences are incorrect?

"Which correspondences are incorrect?"The ones that are correct in Jim's version."
What a clever marketing strategy.

What's really clever about it is that we don't pay Dar a dime for it
Regarding the question itself: I'd have to compare, line by line, each item in 777 to tell you. It's not that there are wrong entries (well, except for the swap in many columns of Lines 15 and 28), but that he had typographical errors. Yes, in 776 1/2 these have been corrected wherever they were identified.

"typographical errors"
Especially in the Hebrew, which is probably where the reference would otherwise be the most useful, and most difficult for a non-expert to guess the intended text!

For some reason I thought this wasn't an issue in the revised version of 777. Shows how deeply I've studied the correspondences!
In the "Notes" of 777 this is written - might be helpful to others:
"lines 15 and 28 should be exchanged on all columns based on the Zodiac or Tarot (i.e., VI-VIII, XI, XIV-XX, XXII-XLVII, XLIX, CXXXVII-CLXXIV, CLXXVII-CLXXXIII and CLXXXVI), not all columns throughout as the editors of 777 Revised state â T.S."
