"To be honest, Quantum physics goes so deep you can get lost down the rabbit hole. I havn't read too much into the Quantum Consciousness as I have other things which I've been formulating theories on based on logic; But it seems that Quantum Consciousness holds grounds, especially that of the idea of superposition (Double slit experiment) and the fact that conscious/subconscious observation seems to directly influence the wave-function of wave-particle dualities to collapse.
"I went down the rabbit hole and this is where I ended up!

Your assumptions are your own responsibility. I know I didn't make them when I read his post, and no one else seems to be bothered by his age or his point on his path to a PhD.

[Geez - did not intend to write such a lengthy post!]
Dara brings up a good point, one that is over-looked:
Being succinct and properly elucidating on what one wishes to express
As he is the one who came and made the post
If it is his desire to be understood, we should not have to guess and make assumptions as to his meaning
It is a matter of facilitating communication,
Being honest (not saying anyone has been intentionally miss-leading)This is not to say, at 20, Frater AO can not be directly pursuing a PhD
(This is not about you, specifically Frater AO)
However, on average, a person his age is still seeking his Bachelors
Now, first he must acquire a Bachelors before going for a Masters
A Masters required to gain a PhD
Thus, while his end goal may be a Doctorate,
He must first pursue a Bachelors, followed by a Masters
Keeping in mind upon attaining a Bachelors, or a Masters
His desire to pursue a PhD may dissapearTo bring this all to an end, a more accurate statement, very well may be:
"I am currently pursuing my B.S. in Physics with the hope of one day being honored with a Doctorate"
The inference that he is currently pursuing a Doctorate implies he is working on additions to current theories
As opposed to still becoming acquainted with the foundation of Physics -
Really..?
So, let me get this straight. This forum has now become the kind of place where it's acceptable to continuously and delusionally demand that one has irrefutably overturned Thelema while a newcomer gets repeatedly accused of lying in overstating his academic progress in his introduction...?
Cloying irony....
The family has a crazy, abusive aunt, and no one is allowed to address it. And newcomers are expected to just adapt to it.
Congratulations. We've officially become enablers.

I understand that some may take my age in juxtaposition to my "claims". -I meant no deception by the such.
While yes, I still have a ways to go before I attain my PhD in Physics, I am doing all that I can, and I will attain it. The statement made that "I am pursuing my PhD in Physics to eventually focus in Quantum and Particle Physics" was simply a statement of Will. By saying that, and continuously affirming it, I am thereby making it happen. (Magick 101, yes?) I am doing the best I can to pursue my PhD; Currently being tutored privately by an uncle who was former dean of the college I attend, as well as having a PhD himself.
As far as magick and Mysticism goes, that I have been studying and practicing since I was 10 years old, with mentors/teachers. Do I know a thing or two about it? I'd like to think so. Do I have a LOT to learn? Of course I do; We all do.
But again, I apologize if I confused anyone, I meant no deception. If anyone has any more questions for me I'm more than happy to answer them to the best of my abilities.

We all know that this isn't really about Frater AO's age and education status, which is irrelevant to the forum.
Frater AO phrased something slightly ambiguously (like none of us ever do that). Dar wanted to talk about her TOS theory, and then found out he's not as old and educated as she assumed.
It's not an issue of "deception". It's a personal matter, and shouldn't have become a forum subject in the first place.
So, now that we all know that, can we drop it and go back to welcoming a new forum member?
Continuing to harp on Frater AO's age is really unseemly and inhospitable to a new member.Welcome, Frater AO!

Then ignore him. You've said what you wanted to say.
It's personal, off-forum, and irrelevant to the rest of us.
These forums are meant to be "enjoyable and helpful" and we are not to "interfere with the rights of others". IMO that includes a right to privacy. I will flag any posts I see sharing private conversations, and let the moderators do what they think is best.
