These are all mixed hierarchies from various sources that flowed into the GD and may or may not ultimately go together. That said...

Angel Lord of Triplicity is next in rank below Assistant Angel Ruling the Sing, so it's kind of like the deputy undersecretary of the department 😉 .

One practical use of these diverse lists is that it makes it easier to find an angel whose name - the letters spelling the name - provides a letter-by-letter formula more suitable to the exact operation you are undertakling. Kinda like saying that Joe in accounting knows better pizza joints, but Jodi knows all the bars that aren't on the map.

Just a quick follow up. Is there any literature on this class of angels?

I'm looking specifically for info one:
סַהקְנָב (Sahqnov) ♏ Angel Lord of the Triplicity by night

name enumerates to 217, if you have in interesting info on that number.

    thanks!

I'm not aware of any. There is one GD Second Order paper, and you have the majority of it in the material alredy in front of you - it doesn't give any supplemental information of the kind I think you're asking about.

These angels tend not ever to have been treated as "individuals." They are more like formulae, concatenations of letters that give life to a pattern.

Right. So, the letters of the name give me everything I need. Just thought I'd cover all the bases.

Btw, is the analysis of Liber 66 in BP given a make over in your new book?

"Btw, is the analysis of Liber 66 in BP given a make over in your new book?"

Yes, a bit. (Not much needed. It's essentially in place already.) Here are the introductory notes to it.

"Chapter 26 is a Commentary on “The Book of the Ruby Star,” which is one of Thelema’s “holy books,” more fully titled LIBER STELLÆ RUBEÆ, A secret ritual of Apep, the Heart of Iao-Oai delivered unto V.V.V.V.V. for his use in a certain matter of Liber Legis, and written down under the figure LXVI.

Whew! The title is longer than at least one other Holy Book! I wrote this commentary in the early 1980s, then refined it over the years for different venues. The present version was adapted for BLACK PEARL No. 7, and then further tweaked for the present volume. Liber Stellæ Rubeæ is an instruction in how “Apep deifies Asar;” that is, in how the sacred sex force transforms natural humanity into God."
