    Thumbs up 👜

(That's as close to a thumbs up smily as there is. Why isn't there a thumbs up smily?)

    Sign me up.

I was to busy with college to participate in the last project but now that that nightmare is over I can get back to my real studies.

I was planning on starting my own regimen anyhow so this works out great.

    Thanks Jim. Looks good.

Legis, Gno & Meph thanks for throwing your hats in.

We'll kick the project off on 12/31.

Can each of you share what you'd like to get out of completing the project?

    Anyone else wanna play?

    Most definately!
    I'm game.
I was hoping that this would start up again.

I personally would like to get out of this a deeper understanding of the relationships between the cards as well as a better command of the symbolic language of the individual cards.

I also would like to be able to discuss in depth the implications of the astrological facets and how to utilize the cards more efficiently for personal applications.

As for me personally, my studies of the Tarot (and contributions to this forum) ground to a halt during college and during certain personal trials etc. etc. blah blah.

What I want to get out of this is to a.) reignite my studies of the Crowley Deck and the Book of Thoth (both of which I obviously own), b.) correlate these studies with a daily meditation period in a format determined by consensus or by Mr. Eshelman (doesn't matter to me), and c.) share these experiences on the forum and grow together in our understanding and comprehension of the Book of Tahuti. I don't particularly remember the last Project, whether the Court or Small Cards were covered, but it would be nice to focus on the Astrological nuances behind the cards (the subtleties of the decans, for instance, is a subject to which I'd like to devote some interest.)

In short, this would be a cool project and an opportunity to evolve as a community in our understanding of an awesome subject. There you have it. 😄

I have to say that this has been the best way I've experienced of learning the tarot. I only got part-way through the trumps last time. The difference in the depth and feel of my reaction when I look at the ones I've meditated on vs. the ones I haven't meditated on, is profound.

It's also really cool to be able to meditate on a card, and then compare notes. You get objective insights, and then you can see that other people got similar insights. It really helps you learn to trust your meditative impressions.

I just think it's awesome, and I'm ready to make another go at it. Always something new - a new facet, a new insight.

My goal is to be more consistent with it this time through.

I was overconfident with the Trumps and didn't do much with them last time since I'd devoted long periods of study to them in the past. But as we went, I really regretted that lack of effort.

Anyway, yeah, my goal is to participate all the way through and get the full effect.

My account doesn't appear to be authorized to view the archive. Anyone else having this problem? Or is it just something weird with my account?

    Angel, welcome aboard!

Thanks for sharing what you all want to get out of participating in the project.

When I was thinking about what I wanted to get out of the project this time I looked back at the first run and realized I cut some corners, didn't really give it my all and I kinda feel like I cheated myself out getting the most I could possibly get . So I'm taking on the second run with more rigor do the program the way it's meant to be done. I'm also looking to engrain the language of tarot so I can read the cards fluently.

This is going to be fun. I am looking forward to what we're all going to create the huge contribution it's going to be to the community here.

    Good one.

Yeah I had the same problem I just didn't bring it up. I'll go through and review the archives so I'm prepared for this next time around.

"When I was thinking about what I wanted to get out of the project this time I looked back at the first run and realized I cut some corners, didn't really give it my all and I kinda feel like I cheated myself out getting the most I could possibly get . Likewise. There seems to also be an inherent Power in the cards that operates well with individual consciousness. I've also been wanting to undertake a good, thorough study of the Crowley deck and the Book of Thoth, and 'twould be well to do it with like-minded peers. There's a lot to be said for the "comparing notes" thing.
