The 'sleep of siloam', when it occurs I can't help but feel as though
the hermit card is intimately connected. Does anyone else feel the same?
What correspondences am I missing between the two?

    Thanks

What exactly are you "getting." Is it just an idea that pops into your head? Or is it a specific perception that you are associating (for whatever reason or non-reason) with The Hermit?

How would you contrast Yod (The Hermit) with Meym (the Path wherein the Sleep of Siloam is undertaken as a task)?

    "

Yod: the secret seed; the sperm; the essence of light, "Had"

Mem: Water; the fluid in which the sexual reaction takes place; the Path between Geburah and Hod representative of the descent or ascent of the Essence of Mind to the Essence of Matter.

Both are merely glyphs of a transference of energy that brokers no names.

    As JAE pointed out,

"Meym (the Path wherein the Sleep of Siloam is undertaken as a task). "

The Hebrew letter Meym is spelled Meym, Yod and Meym. With the Tarot it would be The Hanged Man, The Hermit, and The Hanged Man. So there are no feelings about it being intimately connected. It is connected. Hope this helps? 😀

Sorry, I should have been more specific. I actually acquire a vision of the card while in a trance state.

I was also noting, for what it's worth, that Yod Mem is "im," the Hebrew plural suffix.

Regardless, do you think it's a case of identifying so much with one, you get a vision of the Other? "...you shall have a Companion," and all that?
