From the bible and other sources I always hear how God will save the israelites, and I know of the country israel. What got me thinking was that while studying Gemetria, I wondered how Israel worked along these lines.
So I in my novice attempt worked out:
Israel = ISRAL = 10+60+2+1+30 = 103 (or 301 if you have r = 200)
And then worked out what the letters meant, and discovered the following:
I = The secret of the gate of initiation
S= Self Control & Self Sacrifice govern the Wheel
R = In the sun is the secret of spirit
A = Folly's Doom is Ruin
L = By Equilibrium and Self-Sacrifice, the gate.Then worked out the 3 and 1 separated by 0 to get:
Divine Intelligence(3) separated by the infinite (0) from Unity(1).So following all this, what exactly is an Israelite? Someone who is on the spiritual path?

Israel is spelt:
Yod - Shin- Resh- Aleph - Lamed
10 + 300 + 200 + 1 + 30 = 541.
I'm not sure how you get '2' for R/Resh. Are you dropping the zeroes? That makes it equivalent to Beth.

Or, using the Atus - IX-XX-XIX-0-VIII; 9+20+19+0+8 = 56
Now, "Israel" has personal meaning to me; my username is Avshalom Binyamin
Avshalom; Aleph-Beth-Shin-Lamed-Vav-Mem; 1+2+300+30+6+40 = 379
Binyamin; Beth-Nun-Yod-Mem-Yod-Nun; 2+50+10+40+10+50 = 162379+162 - 541
