LBRP - Unusual occurance during ritual.
-
LOL maybe i am therefore taking it a bit too far then with my attention to detail!
On a side note my mind is not wandering at all so that can be ruled out... from memory it mainly starts before the second QC just after the affirmation.Anyways thanks for the feedback..
PS the sneezing and flatulence has happened also! but thankfully not as often!

I would see it as a good thing. Kind of like when you have eaten magic mushrooms, and start yawning to release the gasses. It is your body getting rid of something it does not need. The same with flatulance...
"Phew, that smells bad.. glad to be rid of it."

I wish I could say, "Thank you for sharing", gentlemen.

I would get uncontrollable yawning when at catholic mass as a kid; I quit going once confirmed in 8th grade because that's when my parents said I could stop. For me it was boredom and also I could feel the repressed atmosphere. You might take the yawning as a symptom that you are being too rote with your actions. Do some spontaneous stuff during it, or more importantly try to intensify it so that you are really engrossed in it.

From Yawn - Wiki
Another speculated reason for yawning is nervousness and is also claimed to help increase the state of alertness of a personβparatroopers have been noted to yawn in the moments before they exit the aircraft.
I would say either you are tired or entering into a more excited state of mind.
A yawn is not just exhalation, its a deep inhale and exhale which forces a little bit more oxygen into your system. This relaxes it and makes it warmer. If you were going to fight someone...take a few very deep very centered breaths first, it helps you concentrate and focus on the high intensity situation at hand. A yawn is the parasympathetic nervous systems response to certain stimulus. -
Hmmm
make sure you keep your breathing deep, steady and regular.
correspond your breathing with the drawing of each line of the pentagram ( up, inhale, down exhale etc.)
alertness and sensitivity are key to good performance in ritual
hope iv helped

a few times my concentration has faltered and i've mixed up the order of the archangels and/or the god names during the pentagrams. a few times i've noticed a change in mood during this, one time i become very tense and irritable. most of the time after performing the ritual correctly i feel calm and at ease. i took this as a sign that mixing up the names obviously has an adverse effect on me. has this happened to anyone else? what would you attribute it to?93,93/93

I think I know what you mean, and I don't think it's good if it happens a lot (provided you can exclude obvious causes such as diet or sleep). I have a hunch that you are getting unbalanced elementally, I'm not sure which one, but if I had to guess, I would say earth. I am not familiar with the Regardie one year manual, but I know in in some of his other stuff the beginning student is encouraged do LBRP for earth. Now, in other posts on this forum, people have advised against doing too much banishing, you might want to search that.
If I were you, I would discontinue the LBRP for a short while, maybe invoke a little of the other elements, get some fresh air, take a swim, then see if clears up. If it does, then you have some data to support this hypothesis.
One thing I do think is that one must very observant and aware of yourself, particularly if you are a "sensitive." -
This may not be a big deal but I normally control my thoughts very well as well as my visualizations... but when I project the 4 Pentagrams during the Star Ruby, it seems they end up inverted as they travel outward?
I mean, almost every time and seems not to be in my control? Anyone have this or similar experiences?

Well after continuing with the LBRP for around 5 years there was a cessation of the yawning as I called on Archangel Michael. Now tho it has switched to regularly occurring when i call on Raphael. Same type of yawn. Not one bit tired, healthy, focused with intent and purpose. I do think that my subconscious is trying to tell me something.
Maybe unbalanced like "underabloodredsky" says?
I do not look on it as being over analytical tho. It strikes me a begin a message that needs to be paid attention too.
Anyone any serious thoughts on this?

Wondering about your breathe and breathing patterns. I have always heard that yawning is an attempt to get more oxygen to the brain, as for some reason this nutrient is being denied
If you are engaged in normal body activities, or have eaten in the last few hours to shift to a slower state of being may indicate that your brain wave pattern and your breathing. Cycles are trying to get in synch.

Thanks for your reply Veronica.
My breathing is very well regulated, even when i comes to the individual lines of the pents i have the breath co ordinated with each stroke. Every morning I meditate also for 20mins before showering and getting organised for work.
I do my LBRP every day at 12 noon, following noon resh. Always have done it this way.
What do you think?
Could I be lacking in elemental balance like someone else suggested? Could anyone elaborate on this possibly? or have any other suggestions?

I think that maybe you need to do some asanas before....sounds like your body needs a good stretching. Sun salutations or moon salutations are a great flowing stretcng excersize for your entire body. Do each posture in the flow as full as you are able, breathing with the movement, using the breathe to stretch.
A ritual is an exercise, and one should always warm up and stretch first.
I personally examine all mundane factors before even thinking about magical or spiritual.....
If you use opiates at all, yawning is common.
If you are at all nervous about your performance, or your intentions are not clear, yawning is common. If you grew up around people who habitually yawned at a certain stimulus ( ie time of day, or body movements) you could be conditioned to yawn, subconsciously.
If the room you are in is too warm, or too cold....you could yawn.
If you eat to quick, or to slow. You could yawn...
There are so many reasons why,
You are a human being, and human body's do things that need to be done.
If it bothers you then maybe the issue is not that you are yawning, or burping or what ever is happening during your rite, but the fact that it is bothering you. -
FWIW, I remain of the opinion that this is over-interpretation - almost supersititious attribution of meaning - and not anything of consequence.
Of course, I could be wrong about that and you could be annihilating vast universes and swallowing enormous amounts of lethal radiation with every yawn.

Yawning is sometimes a symptom of anxiety in patterned behaviours.
Specifically, its a common symptom in relation to feelings of apprehension and self-consciousness during or prior to performance. Anticipation causes an unconscious tension of the upper torso that triggers the yawn. Does that ring true for you at all?

It'd does for me, I've noticed myself doing it in stressful situations.

I generally rarely yawn as I train 5 times a week and have a healthy diet that consists of veg, fruit and meat with almost no processed foods. I am never tired because of it and full of energy. Hence why I questioned the yawning. But it may just be that I have now associated it with the arch angel and why it repeats....
