During my visualizations of the LBRP, most of them come along fine enough (Imagining energy being drawn in to my body to intone the words of power, etc, etc.)

However, it seems to be that whenever I get to the actual forming of the pentagrams, they NEVER stay still. They constantly spin and contort, and it takes me several moments to stabilize their images enough so I feel it was done "right".

Visualizing the Archangels? No problem. Scenery? Easy. Sounds? Pffft. Keeping a pentagram perfectly still and in my mind's eye? 😊

I have even counted on the images of the Archangels to hold on to them to keep them from rotating and bending in-and-out of shape... But it doesn't do much.

Any insights in to this problem?

They likely are misbehaving consistent with a tendency of your body and/or mind to misbehave. Try preceding this with a practice of systematic relaxation of every muscle in your body, and rhythmic breathing to calm the mind. Always do this as a preliminary until you get the "feel" of it, then you'll be able to detect whether you're in the right state before doing the practice.

I suggest if you cannot visualise the pentagrams staying still during the LBRP, perhaps find a midway point, such as visualising them flaming and flickering about
    i hope this helps

    93,

Work on basic dharana. Repeat a mantra and get better at basic concentration. Take some deep breaths before hand. The best advice youll get is: keep at it.
