Marble Floor & the Great Sea

I am trying to cross-reference CCXX, I:51 with a verse that I ran across some years back which I believe comes from Sepher ha-Zohar & I cannot recover it for the life of me! The verse for which I'm searching makes reference to 3 or 4 Rabbis who are attempting to enter the Great Sea, but one of them sinks because he mistakes the water for the marble floor of a palace... sound familiar to anyone?
