    Hi all,

I'm a 29 year old, inactive OTO initiate, in Portland, Oregon.

Like many Thelemites, I had a fundamentalist upbringing. After leaving that, I cycled through various phases of agnosticism, atheism, gnosticism, etc.

I found Thelema by chance, attending a Gnostic Mass without knowing a thing about Thelema, the OTO, or Crowley. I initiated, but until recently was lazy, non-committal, and full of frequent starts and stops.

Now, I've started taking it more seriously, holding myself responsible for my own hard work and development.

I'm here mainly to read, and engage in some discussion, without getting myself into huge debates (I like debating, but can get distracted too easily).

Welcome to the forums, fellow Oregonian! I like your posts so far. You sound like you've got your shit relatively together.

Thanks for the welcome. I'll take refuge in the word "relatively" 😉
