Techniques to always be with someone in spirit

My SW is going into detox and then rehab for her heroin issues. When I went she astrally visited my almost nightly. Now, I'm the sober one and she needs to be able to call on me, and if not actually get visited, feel my love and energy around her. Any thoughts?

IMO-do things in the physical. While getting an astral visit can be nice, getting flowers, cards, chocolate a phone call, a visit in person.....are much much nicer. Concidering that she will be going through tremendous physcial conditions, if it were me (and I have been there done that with my addicts) I would just send her love n light, healing energies and not attempt to visit. If she recieves a visit from you, and then says something in group or in session, she may be concidered mentally imbalanced and that may influence her rehab. Of course your expierence and situation may be one in which this is not the case.

You dont need nail clippings, drops of blood, sigils and signs.....

I physically visit as much as is possible. Sending cards etc unfortunately is not allowed because thy "could contain drugs". As she holds the position of Scarlet Woman, she is a Thelemite and knows that if I visit at night or what have you, or send her protective light and safety, she knows to accept it, know it's real. but not to mention it to the group at large. As I said, she did astrally visit me while I was in the same situation, and I knew it was real but never mentioned it to anyone else. She's wise enough not to do so either. I dont work with fingernail cuttings, herbs etc, I consider that wiccan stuff, and while it may work, it doesnt for me. I work with energy, ceremony and so forth. Any further advice would be great.

when i'm in a situation were my wife is away from me and i feel she need protection and/or energy, even the feeling of me besides her, i do the following:
- I perfom the LBRP, because it is always good to work in a cleared space
- I practice the Middel Pillar Exercise to increase my energy and get it in a flow.
- I open my "Tipharet"-Sphere "solar plexus" like a efflorescent flower and visualize a beam of brilliant white light flowing out and connecting my wife at the same spot in her aura. This energy fills her aura with love and light and she starts feeling better immediatly.
- When i feel (she sends me a sign) it is enough i close the flower and the beam gets smaller and start dissolving.
- I perform the Qabalistic Cross to release surplus energy back to the universe.
