    I have a question about this quote at the end of De Lege Libellum:

    @Aleister Crowley said

    [...] the Wand for Liberty, the Cup for Love, the Sword for Life, the Disk for Light[.]

    Why are the elemental weapons attributed in that fashion? I can understand the Cup for Love, and I suppose the Wand for Liberty, but none of the others; they almost seem backwards to me, if I had to take a wild guess as to attributions?

    Could anyone explain this to me?

    I think the only answer is that Liber CL stands apart from all other documents as having its own unique spin on such things. 😀

    I do know where he was coming from in that, though (1) I'm not sure I'm at liberty to say and (2) it really wouldn't help you any. Just take it at face value as "the opinion of the day" and see what you can get out of it in the context of the overall document.
