    I can only offer a philosophical viewpoint as I am not familiar with the Ceremonial. So this is a comment rather than an answer of course. I would think that to focus on one aspect of anything is more difficult than allowing for multiple influences to come into focus and manifest. I would theorize that an intense concentration would be key to singling out an aspect of the universe rather than allowing the mind to be somewhat free in what it allows into its plane of thought. All things return back to 1 and then to 0. Thus, to attain consciousness and exaltation in the 1 would probably be more challenging than the many. "More challenging" in my use only means it is harder and may take more time and focus - however, I think would bring about a more fulfilling result. Just thoughts......
