I need to study the multiples of 17 under 1000 & find a connection between them.
Where is a good place to start learning these techniques?

I've looked up the numbers on Sepher Sephiroth & got a vague surface understanding of some of the words associated and their meanings. How do I dig deeper to actually begin to uncover such connections?

What books/sources can you recommend that will give me a foothold on this technique?

    Sepher Sephiroth.

Don't just see it as a list of words. In each case, from the words present and other mathematical characteristics of the number, attempt to discern meditatively a central theme, or core meaning, for that particular number. Then look for a pattern.

"What books/sources can you recommend that will give me a foothold on this technique?"

    I don't know of any.

    Thank you.
Yes, I have read that chapter. I believe it was included in my copy of Liber 777.

I am slightly confused with something however.
    Looking at :
    www.billheidrick.com/works/hgm1/hg0030.htm (#34)

the words listed are very different from the ones in Sepher Sephiroth in Liber 777.
    Why is this?

Sepher Sephiroth is just one catalogue. Bill has catalogued what's important to him. My own catalogue has about 5 times as much stuff as Sepher D (not counting the Greek and Latin entries).

    Thanks for clearing that up!
Do you only use hebrew words in your numeric lists?
How do you classify english words that might have an appropriate numeric value?
