    Greetings all!
My name is Alan. I am nearly 50 years of age and I live in London. A girlfriend gave me *The Great Beast *by Symonds when I was about 18 and I have been a real fan of Crowley ever since. My favourite thing about him is his passion to get things written down; I truly think that AC is happy that he accomplished everything in life that he wanted to do; wrote all that he wanted to write. He performed his allotted task while it was yet day.

I am a Freemason in the UGLE. I was also in Royal Arch, Mark and RAM. I am about to become secretary of my Lodge, which is in Sutton.

I have what I believe to be a Crowleyan sense of humour - so don't take everything I write seriously.

I have been lurking on this site for a while and I am tremendously impressed. Both by the forum layout itself and the high quality of the posts here. So much so that I will probably lurk quite a while longer.
