Healing through Magick
-
I wonder if Magickal Techniques can be employed in the "Physical Healing" of others, and if so to what extent? Furthermore what particular techniques might one use?

Yes. Done all the time. Most of the techniques are confidential. (I might squeak out a principle or two if I had more time, but I'm heading a hardware replacement at our office over the next couple of weeks and literally doing 12 things at once.)

93,
Just to be clear, we are talking "Magickal Techniques"...as in something other than "change in accordance with will"? I would assume you mean with "non-conventional" means...
Some components:
Concentration, energy movement, the parties involved "looking in the same direction", Certainty. Most of all, a developed will. That's all I'm willing to disclose via forum. There would be no point in going into more detail.
I will say that Franz Bardon wrote some good ideas down, but they don't work without work (i.e. training!). However, his ideas seemed to not have the New Aeon perspective, which I find to be helpful.
There are many techniques: the idea is to find the one that you're the most comfortable with. In my personal experience, the simpler the paradigm, the better... and your own research is the best research.
The first question for me was: why do I want to heal? What are the motivations? What is necessary and what is not? That helped me to be more successful. And are we talking physical ailments? Some would say that some physical ailments are caused on "higher planes" first. Conversations with people can cause GREAT healing...to not admit the power of well-placed words would be highly irresponsible.
Honestly, I've found, even when healing myself, that sometimes it's a lot easier to let something take its course rather than waste energy fighting it. After all, sometimes the symptoms of the ailment aren't worth confronting by "non-conventional" means. Also, I've succumbed to personal sickness after healing someone else. Whether it was "directly" related, difficult to say, as "hard" science (as we understand it) gets blurred at that point.
I don't mean to sound too clandestine. But, let me add that the skills I required had to evolve, there was no "secret" miracle technique involved. You are more than capable of training yourself; however, a good teacher will call you on your bullshit, thus making your training more efficient. Keeping a record helped me to avoid fascination and have more "provable" results. It also helps keep a record of elapsed time of the entire "operation".
Keep in mind, anybody can always dispute "Magickal Techniques" for "Physical Healing" via skepticism. That's life. If that bothers one, then one should examine their motivations.
I hope this was helpful. Good luck with your research!
Love is the law, love under will.

Israel Regardie has written about this. From the little I know, the Middle Pillar technique forms a base for developing a "healing" energy. Regardie coupled this with a Reichian form of therapy, from what I remember, in his own practices.
I have a feeling you may know about this though and are maybe asking for insight into more advanced techniques.

"I see it this way myself. I also view the middle pillar as the focus of the energy produce from the "Big Bang Singularity" and neccessary to stay inline with the universe.
This is the only way I know how to describe a proccess that for me is very mysterious.
