astral junk/"little nasties" bothering girlfriend?

I know that rituals such as the LBRP can attract unwanted entities because its bright pentagrams light up the astral plane and I'm wondering if this has a connection to something my girlfriend has been complaining about. She reports hearing loud footsteps and sensing a uneasy energy around her at times in her apartment (where I spend much of my time). She is not a superstitious person and generally regards my interest in the occult to be ineffective and overly complicated at best, to distracting at worst. So it is odd that she has been reporting these phenomena to me, the other night she even refused to go into her own apartment.
I mostly do my rituals in my own apartment but I have occasionally done a few like the LBRP, BRH, and Middle Pillar there. Could the noises she is hearing be some kind of elemental attracted by the LBRP? Does anyone here have similar stories about little nasties/astral junk? I sensed nothing when I went in her apartment and even did an LBRP in the area. Also prescribed a psalm 91 reading to ease her nerves

I have very little knowledge about this but is it possible that she's creating this herself? IE poltergeist activity?
I would assume that astral junk 1.would flee from your rituals and not come back any stronger than it had been previously and 2. that it would not bother anyone but you.

It''s normal to experience such things when you just start practicing. Just double up on your banishings and really focus on your visualizations, and they will clear up. If you get something that is really nasty just burn some incense and read from the Holy Books of Thelema out loud.

If the banishing is performed properly there will be no activity. Either poltergeist activity from an individual or improper ritual performance is most likely to blame. Make sure to note all of this in your journal, especially when it began, the times at which it occurs, who's present during occurances, and when it stops. Don't forget to record your daily rituals as well as notes as to performance, feelings before and after, and anything else that seems relevant.

So... nobody every AMPLIFIED nasty things by reading aloud from the holy books and doing more ritual? That's always something I kind of worried about: that the act of doing magick would attract demons or whatever and then what do I do? Scream "Jeebus, save me!" when I don't even believe? LOL, kinda screwed. I had some weird stuff happen (physical) and figured it was an indication that whatever I was doing was either (A) negative and harmful, or (B) that I simply wasn't cut out for this line of work. Also, (C) it is really impossible to know who or what to believe and the secret nature of WMT didn't give me confidence or faith in it.
