Hi, I'm Smiley.

I happened to stumble across this site of intrigue, which I'm interested in the exchange of knowledge. I'm a spiritual agnostic, which I freelance in my practice and understanding of magick. Fortunately or unfortunately, I'm gifted in precognition, which I specialize in the acquisition of knowledge through divination. Likewise, I'm rather advanced in it and feel most individuals leave the gift in somewhat of a fetal state.

Currently, I'm in the process of developing a ritual for imbuing an amulet. I've sought insight about potential ramifications of certain aspects of the spell, which an individual told me it reminded him of the ritual in "The Book of Abramelin". In looking up information about the book, I came across the name Thelema, so I proceeded to do an internet search on forums dedicated to Thelema. And that is how I found this place...

By the way, does 551 (five five one) happen to mean anything to you?

Also, I noticed people leave 93 in their comments. What does 93 mean or stand for?

93 is the value of the Greek words Thelema (will) and Agape (love). So, 93 often becomes shorthand for "Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law." or the response, "Love is the law, love under will.

551 (to me) would be the value of my username Avshalom Binyamin + 10.

    Welcome, Smiley.

Not really. It's the product of two primes, 19 and 29. Very early in my magical career, I noticed that the way this number is written in Hebrew, Aleph Nun Kaph-final, could be a viable transliteration of Ankh, but I'm not at all sure I'd stick by that today. There are a couple of dozen words in the Torah enumerating to 551, of minor value unless they hit exactly on the target you're shooting.

"Also, I noticed people leave 93 in their comments. What does 93 mean or stand for?"

Many things; but, most especially, it is the value of the Greek words Thelema and Agape. You can download our journal Black Pearl for free at www.thelema.org/publications and, in issue 1, you'll find a more detailed discussion of 93.
