Can anyone recommend one translation of the Zohar over another? Also, could you direct me to them? Thanks!

I'm partial to the Pritzker edition:
    www.amazon.com/Zohar-Pritzker-Vol-1/dp/0804747474/ref=sr_1_7?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1330570234&sr=1-7

While I can't personally vouch for the accuracy of the translation, word is that this one is the best. The only drawback is that only 6 volumes (of 12) have been been released so far.

Dunno if you've come across this yet, but although it's only Bereshith to Lekh Lekha from the Genesis section, the price is right.

"This is not a critical edition; written by a pseudonymous Theosophist, probably British, it is laced with out-of-place terminology such as 'Karma' and 'Planes.' It nevertheless lets you wade in the rip current of one of the most magical of the world's sacred texts, and leaves you gasping for air and wanting more. "

I have the five-volume Sperling & Simon translation. I can't say that I've done any comparison and prefer it as such, except that it's one of the few complete sets available - maybe the only complete set of the Biblical portions of the Zohar that is in print.

I 2nd the Pritzker translation. It also comes with detailed commentary throught the series. I'm just hoping the guy doing the translating does not die before he finishes the series.
