Greater Hexagram Ritual

I'm sorry if this has been asked long before:
I usually perform, and plan to on this occasion, the lesser banishing hexagram ritual before using a Greater Invoking Hexagram ritual.
I've been informed that if using Liber O, to use both elements from both lesser and greater rituals of the Pent and Hex, as in doing the Kabbalistic cross before and after the GPRituals, even though it's not a direct instruction from Liber O.
My question:
Do I do a formula for the keyword before tracing hexagrams in the Greater ritual? I know the Earth Hexagram alone is used, but do I combine elements from the Lesser Hexagram ritual, as in the Lessesr to Greater Pent rituals.
I'm sorry about asking so many questions, but I'm trying to work something on a very important occasion and would like the opinion of more informed Magicians.

The original G.D. form of the Hexagram ritual consisted of Qabalistic Cross, then hexagrams, then Analysis of Keyword. In Liber O (maybe sooner, but I can't find it). it was changed to the form that used Analysis of the Keyword at both ends.
