I am trying to learn everything I can on Astrological time and dates, but didn't think it was appropriate to post this in Horustheantichrist's thread.

If one visits the site Lashtal.com, one will notice the Astrological time and date in the upper left corner of the page.

Eheieh trying to find out if this is correct for sidereel astrology. Could someone please comment on this?

For instance, it is May 7th at 2:01PM and I live in Chester, Virginia. Lashtal says the astrological time and date is Sol in 17deg. Taurus; Luna in 10deg. Sagittarius.

I'm just trying to align specific rituals to the astrological dates and don't want to use tropical astrological time/dates.

    Thank you all.

I just read a sidereel Ephemeris that has the Sidereal time and date as:
    Sol in 23deg. Aries
    Luna in 13deg. Scorpio.

Does this mean that Lashtal is still using Tropical zodiac and that the Ephemeris I found is correct for sidereal astrology?

I apologize for all the questions. I am trying to learn as much as I can about this.

    Thank you all

Lashtal uses the Tropical zodiac, yes.

Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.

ThelemicMage, would you mind sharing the sidereal ephemeris you're using?

And Jim, can I get your opinion on the information here? Is it accurate enough to use in practice by your standards?

    Thanks in advance.

Love is the law, love under will.

Lahiri uses an ayanamsa that's almost a degree wrong.

See this article - Lahiri is based on the Spica = 0 Libra ayanamsa listed as "The Spica Zodiac" in this article.

    www.asianastro.com/Sidereal%20Ephemeris%202012.HTM

This is the site where the Ephemeris is located for sidereal astrology.

Jim, could you verify that this is correct to the degree?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Same one mentioned above. It's Lahiri, which is about a degree off. (Everything is approximately 1° later in that ephemeris than in the Sidereal Zodiac.)

    Thank you, Jim.

Can anyone provide a link to a valid Ephemeral for sidereal astrology?

    Thank you again.

    Thanks, Jim.

Is this site correct for sidereal astrology?

    www.astroccult.net/ephemeries.html

It says it uses a different system.

    Thanks

You aren't paying attention and I doubt just giving you answers is going to teach you anything. That site clearly states it is using the LAHIRI AYANAMSA system (which you've already been told is approximately 1 degree off). I suggest you research the Fagan-Allen system of calculations. This should answer all your current questions.

I am in fact paying attention all the while accomplishing a shitload of work in progress at my house -- all the while trying to pull a valid list of astrological dates out of anything, anyone.

I can't even get a name for the valid sidereal zodiac besides who wrote the book and the title of the book.

I apologize if I seem like I'm just shooting questions, but I am trying to get a lot of work done in a little bit of time and I guess the answer for it was paying money for a book.

However, I shall study the fallen angel system of calculations and see if that answers my question.

    Thanks.

It's proper name is "the Sidereal Zodiac." It is often characterized as Fagan-Bradley or Fagan-Allen because of the pioneers of its rediscovery.

You apparently still haven't read this essay which would have answered those particular questions:
    www.solunars.com/essays/brieflook.htm

You also have been told where you can go buy materials you are asking about, and then you continue to act as if nobody has answered your question on that point.

"I apologize if I seem like I'm just shooting questions, but I am trying to get a lot of work done in a little bit of time and I guess the answer for it was paying money for a book."

Bingo. (That would be a worthy habit to get into 😀 Buy books!)
