Hello, I joined this forum because I realized Thelema is pretty well in line with my personal belief-system inasmuch as I have a belief-system at all..
The quotation "Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law" makes since to me once it is understood that finding one's true Will is paramount to concious evolution.
I also like the Egyptian mystery school's influence on his writings since their society was one of the first able to put abstract thoughts/feelings into symbolism even deification of some of the greater archetypes.

I had a similar experience upon my discovery of the Book of the Law.
Upon my first reading, I thought "Holy! Some dude was nice enough to write out my beliefs in a concise manner! How convenient!"
