Where do emotions fit on the Tree of Life?
-
In the midst of all the drama and technical threads involving lots of gematria, history of Qabalah, Crowley's life in general, and other such things, I have this really simple question.
My inclination (which I suspect is incorrect) is that emotions are somewhere in either Hod, Netzach, or both, with their roots in Yesod... but that's not really satisfying me. Emotions appear to me to cross the line between conscious, unconscious, and pre-conscious fields (or whatever that gray area in between is), with their structure often spanning all of those areas of the psyche.
Or something.

Reactive emotions are certainly Yesod. And you're right that it's broader than that, though, from another point of view, these could all he viewed as sub-sephiroth within Yesod.
Netzach is desire force and might, in general, be called the force behind emotions. Malkuth is the physical sensations we usually call "feelings." And so forth.
