Clicking the Amygdala Forward for Enthusiasm and Fun
-
Was inspired by another post on the forum to remember something from way back when in high school, that is, coming across the work of T.D.A. Lingo and his amygdala research.
It's hard not to smile when you "click it", that is focus attention on the amygdala the same way you set your attention to any other more visible body part (finger, hand, arm et cetera).
It was one of the first neurological structures that I ever realized I had physical control over, and I definitely smiled the first time I "clicked it".
Not to get circular about this, but I am tired so here's Mr. Neil Slade's webpage about this "amygdala clicking" and "frontal lobe poppin'":
He will explain it far better than I have.
