Falling in love with the HGA

Crazy, crazy, crazy ideia. It's not recent but only today did I think to post it.
I'll be straightfoward. What if someone fell in love with their HGA? (I guess it must have happened already, but who knows.) I'm talking about the pre-Adept stage. The aspirant falls in love with the HGA and, like it always happens when someone is in love, they think the HGA is perfect (and it is), they want to do everything to please It (which is desirable), they want to be with It at all times (which, again, is desirable). Do you guys can see where I'm going?
When I say "fall in love", I'm talking the exact same kind of "falling in love" that happens with a person. Heck, there are people who fall in love with objects. So it's not an absurd to think that such a passion could be induced. Keep in mind that I'm not talking about strong aspiration, no matter how strong, but a romantic love as intense as happens between people, in a pre-Adept. Are you still with me? Good.
So, my idea is that, if this were to happen, it would foster the Work of the aspirant quite a bit and perhaps facilitate and make the way to K&C quicker.
And no, I'm not in love with my HGA (in this sense), nor do I seriously intend to be. This is a purely theoretical question.

Not really. You sound like you think this is a problem, but I haven't caught where that is.
Of course, since you said pre-Adept stage, it's a little complicated by the projection issue and whatever else is being stirred up in the psyche of the particular person. More often, though, at that stage people are doing the opposite: Falling in love with a human being and not understanding that what they are feeling is the love for the Angel.

With you in terms of what you are saying, but not with you in terms of what you are NOT saying. You have a projection going here: You are under the impression that other people will react to this fact set the same as you are.

Maybe. Or screw them up. Or be irrelevant. As One Star in Sight says, "none knoweth the Name of his brother’s God, or the Rite that invokes Him."

You are not crazy!! i would happen and hope to believe that all of us can completely identify with? this is one of those things tht i would hope that is a shared phenomenon with us who have experienced this relationship. It is a very trusting relationship, and your reaction to it is something that also has struck a chord with me... that indescribable genuine trusting kind intimate love. it is as though you trust the hga more than what you see with your eyes and past whatever reality structure you are subjected to....thank you for posting that....

Not a crazy idea at all. I don't speak of my Holy Guardian Angel in overly direct terms, as She is sacred to me in a very special way. I have not yet had Knowledge and Conversation, but She has revealed Herself to me in visions on a number of occasions.
All I can say is that She is my muse, companion, and guide on this quest we call life. If our Angels are in truth the visible image of our souls, then souls must be very beautiful indeed.
