Hello, I am Joey, long time reader, first time poster(heh, sorry, I've read certain subjects on this forum for like a week... I just had to do that). I am a long time student of the esoteric, note the emphasis on the word student, until this year I have not been nor have I considered myself a ceremonial magician. I've studied the occult since I was about twelve, more on and off since I was eighteen but about two years ago the interest overcame me, again, more so than it ever has. Since then I have made much use of many of the old books I've read time and time again... I started over, from scratch, and found myself taken with the works of Levi, then Dion Fortune, then the "Great Beast" himself, then Israel Regardie, then Lon Milo - I realize now that I should have started with DuQuette and worked my way backwards, heh. I am a member of no order, however I am aspiring to membership within the O.T.O. itself. I have a circle of friends who share this interest, and my girl friend has taken the leap off the high dive and will soon surpass my own obsession... however, I am looking for a community that I can discuss the esoteric and metaphysics more... objectively with than these well-intentioned but wistful people, which is why I am here!

Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.

      Welcome.

Love is the law, love under will.
