Thelemic Mysticism and the Temple of Solomon

I didn't know about that arrangement of ARARITA. Beautiful.
No matter the Biblical roots of any of this(I give much less than a sh*t), the heart of the Thelemic perspective is so beautifully expounded here(EDIT: My perception of the Thelemic perspective, at least), however effervescent your particular truths are, Patthana
For Art's sake, in its state untouched by the muddy fingers of reason, is this Temple established in my heart. -

This "arrangement of ARARITA" is not new. Yes, Dar is correct, it is the intended order - but this was never hidden as far as I know.

"It was hidden to me! I love it!

Why don't you raed these two books. They will shed much life on the subject.

I beleive the knightsntemplar got the answers. No big deal really. You see, all cults of the day worshipped venus. The preists had fantastic knowledge of the stars and planets. They built temples as astrological observatiries for the preists.

220 and 418 are linked in that 418 is a more in-depth version of the ToL being seen as consisting of processes.
If we assume that the paths between sephiroth are more like processes and the sephiroth themselves more like states linked by these processes, then 22*10 is a representation of the 220 open processes of all 10 sephirothic states (each sephiroth represented by a network of all open paths each).
Now 418 is 38*11. 38 is the number of all paths on the ToL including the 16 hidden ones represented by the court cards - plus the 22 open ones represented by the major arcana.
So again, 38*11 is a representation of the 418 open and hidden processes of all 10 sephirothic states and their connection by the 38 processes between these states / meta-processes inside the sephiroth! You get a bigger map that depicts the whole ToL as a complex series of 418 processes and no fixed states.
No idea if that is of use to your analysis but firing this out as it seems very relevant to me when comparing the neocabbala-inherent meanings of 220 and 418.

"@ Simon. I can't really see any relevance to the Temple here."
That is for you to decide of course - it's your baby.
But to point out this objective background to the relationship between the numbers 220 and 418 in relation to the tree of life is hardly not on topic. As expounded above.
The 16 paths have not been "added in" by me, this has always been in the construction of the tree. Count for yourself. 16 possible paths are missing, and the tarot that is assumed to depict the ToL has 40 cards for the 10 sephiroth and 22 for the paths between them - and then 16 further, so far unattributed cards. You seriously think this is not so by design?
Well, if you can use it for your idea or not is yours to decide - I threw it in here just in case you could.

Administrator's Note: Dar (perhaps as a slip) reported her own post as off-topic. On principle, I'm not going to act on that However, it's as good a time as any to pre-admonish everyone to self-monitor about keeping this substantially on-topic, tightly delivered thread on topic.
(A bit of temporary digression here and there is natural, of course.)

"Regarding "Thelemic Mysticism" and your solution to this riddle, you don't here speak of the ramifications of your solving this riddle, which, as I understand it, would be an incredibly significant occurrence for all Thelemic mystics. "
Over-rated and usually misunderstood. Possibly even a moondoggle.
"Are you the one who is to come, or should we expect another?"
The phrase is "one to follow," and I think you are putting meaning on it that isn't intended in the original. (This, of course, is your prerogative.) FWIW I note that the "one to follow" is explicitly stated in Liber Legis to be a "he."
In any case, please let her make her comprehensive case, start to finish, uninterrupted.

"bump goodbye"
You keep saying or hinting at this. Does it interfere with your magick that it isn't always "I say it is so, so it must be so?"
Goodbye (I hope)
