So, I've been studying this for the past few days because I had a strange (call it a tap on the shoulder) hint that this was my next step.
I have several writings that describe the general basis of evocation some from Regardie, as well as some classical works like Abramelin.
Although well written, most of them are written in the context that you yourself are working in a pre-defined ritual space, like a temple
and also with a group (not all writings refer to a group, but some I've seen have). My question is what book or text would one recommend for a more
pragmatic and modern approach to perform this operation safely, as well as alone or independently.Thanks

Abramelin gives the only technique I would recommend.
He wrote that after you complete the operation of the K&C of the HGA, the Holy Guardian Angel will give you full instructions on this.
