    93,

Virtually anything that has an element of dying and being reborn in a more perfected state, which includes the basic idea of dying and being reborn in a new 'child.' Traditionally, it comes from the 5=6 ceremony of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn and initiates would re-enact a portion through the Analysis of the Key-Word, that forms the beginning and end of the Hexagram rituals (although technically the Qabalistic Cross is the beginning of the Hexagram rituals, but that's nitpicky).
