The difference between similar spirits from the Goetia

Hi, I have another beginner's question.
If I am interested in an inquiry of an academic nature, what difference is there between the various Goetic spirits who "can teach Sciences"?
There are so many of them. There's a king, a great earl/president, a marquis, etc. And their descriptions don't show any difference that is relevant to my inquiry.
How, then, should I choose which spirit to conjure? -
