The Zelator grade is said to be attained fully when their chosen asana produces no tremors after one full hour of yoga. The test was said to be achieved when a saucer full of water placed on the head spills not one drop within that hour. Is this a Crolweyan practical joke?

    No.

However, some people have very round heads so that it wouldn't balance if they were dead and in rigor mortis. Alternative means are sometimes needed for testing.

"Saucer" means a British saucer of the day - more like a shallow soup bowl than a miniature plate.

    Like a hacksaw, or what?

Precisely! (Much better control than an axe.)

Obviously one needs also to study all the appropriate material for the previous grade, though, right? If not, I would imagine any Guiness Book of World Records endurance feat would be worthy of the Zelator grade.
