Magic and Song

Many thanks, but I was actually referring to one of the climaxes of liber Samekh.
When one's spiritual essence gives itself up to your holy guardian angel through the top of your head right through your skull through the sahasrara chakra.

"I feel myself inwardly and unchangably intoning names and adorations in what I would term as "Egyptian" notes or wavelength. It must be experienced to know what I mean, but here's a rough explaination:Power chords, on a guitar, the chords "easier" to play however they jump notes and don't exactly hit each one all the way up, though the chord is organized in such a way as to introduce the higher notes in what would be a regular chord.
This is what egyptian religion pretty much did, and there's a pattern and harmony to it. All I can really say is that when I intone names and adorations, it sound like egyptian power chord notes.
Very powerful.

Very interesting, ive never thought of intoning to any particular tone/chord etc., probably because I am not knowledgeable in music. I certainly see how powerful that could be. Any suggestions on trying it? How do you determine the tones for particular names etc?

Start here: www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showthread.php?t=13602
Just get a keyboard at Walmart, which is always easiest to learn the notes and such with because the keys are all laid out in linear form. Even all the sharps and flats are organized into half-step black keys. Then, start with something simple, like Liber Resh. Intone your final adoration in the simplest fashion you can. (Go from your normal recitation of it at first, then let your inner, higher self guide you into musical expression.)
If you are successful in rituals such as the pentagram rituals, then feeling your true musical connection to the divine names will not be that hard. In fact, you don't even have to learn notes, (but you should,) to start this if you have a knack for Magick.

Thank you, this is great! Something new, ill try it. This has opened my eyes to a whole new area to examine. Thanks again.

Ive always been curious why music itself, and song writing, and even singing hasnt been more used in magick. Watching another sing, and of course singing itself for the performer is a powerfully emotional esperience. Of course if done well, and perhaps regardless. Wouldnt this be a powerful tool to enflame thyself? Why havent we seen more magical techniques for the use of music and vocals? Perhaps even song writing for ritual, as a potent method of "the Sword" aspect of the steps of ritual Jim mentions in his book?

I highly recommend this book to any person interested in bringing more music into thier lives, and more magick too.

All ritual moves,
In a heart-beat rhythm,
that reflects our soulAn interesting phenomenon:
Focusing on the Hebrew letters as I intone,
Both their drawing and placing,
In the scheme of the LBRP;
I begin to grow more passive,
Flowing through me,
Undulations in the air,
Minute changes in toneWhere each letter takes on a character of its own...
This rising crescendo bleeds out into the Work.
After a long time dancing in Silence,
I have once more began adding Color & Sound
Intensity-Ecstasy-Concious-Continuity
An addictive quality intertwining with the BreathThough this is where I was not too long ago,
Walking that fine razors edge I adore so well ;
Shall I make the same mistakes again?
No, there shall be a change, a growth, an understanding
The question is, have I yet grown wise to the methods of my own demise? My my have I been long-winded recently
I shall end with an interlude on the French Garden Hose:

I used to meditate on music and mystical attributions quite a bit. Thought you may like this:
Yin line = Minor 3rd
Yang line = Major 3rdOMG! All of the prominent western music theory scales in the early I-ching arrangement?
Enjoy!

This is very cool. So you could use this as a musical addition to the Hexagrams of Yi Ching too maybe?

You think this is the root if music perhaps? Our mothers heartbeat? Thats a interesting theory. Ive read a bit about the mystery of tge origibs of music etc, and how universal it is to humans. I like this simple and even symbolic type of idea.

Well, the beat of most music falls in the range of an adult human's heartbeat.

an interesting note on 'singing'. in the amazonian traditions - the shamans do sing their incantations, banishing, and spells, which are called icaros. many of them are quite beautiful - the singing is used to focus the 'intention' or will of the curandero and the songs themselves act like magical weapons, usually for the purposes of healing. Having had the opportunity to sit in quite a number of these rituals, i found myself asking the same question, what if western rituals were 'sung' instead of quoted?
EDIT: many of the songs are said to be created by spirits and taught to the shaman's to sing.

I was told by a friend that Enochian is meant to be sung or 'vibrated' by 7 people, just as certain Tibetan ritual practises are. Just wondering - did the curanderos have a ritually significant number of people attending the rituals too?"
none that I have ever been aware of, since the ceremonies are really set up to 'heal' those attending. The ones I have participated in are usually between 5 - 20, though I have sat in one that was over 40. Sometimes you will have a number of curanderos singing in different parts of the ceremony room but dont believe there is any significance there.

Cheers. It was worth checking out anyway. I am most interested in those branches of magick and healing that have a focused system behind the synergistic workings of consciousness. "
Then you will wish to check this phenomenon out, Dar. (Same phenomenon as the glossalia experienced during a DMT experience, same sacrament as well that the shamans work with.)
Now when "out there" on aya or DMT, I notice my different selves, the (seven centers of my intention,) singing at the same time, this "demotic greek", sometimes Enochian, glossalia. After a many times, it is not glossalia anymore due to you having a knowledgable flow of the words/songs themselves.
I paraphrase of how our brother brake the seven lances.
Now the DMT "elves' themselves speak "demotic greek", a precursor to angelic enochian. One would wish to study the distance between Malkuth and Yesod, as well as the languages of the after-death elves and enochian. We just had a discussion on the differences between angels and divine lower forms, this is the language difference. No fooling, shamans have been speaking this language for thousands of years. I will not even go into how the righteous and rare mushroom shamans of mexico and S. American speak enochian fluently.
You know how if you're in trance, or in psychedelic trance, (same thing, you're just eating either endogenous or nature-fed neurotransmitters; like trying to go on a long hike with just breakfast, or with breakfast and lunch ,) you feel your different aspects combine to form your internal dialogue?
One instance of this is your male voice merges with a female voice in your int. dialogue, symbolizing the male/female relationship between you and your HGA.
The "seven centers of your intention" also manifest themselves in such ways.
We must remember that everything in existence has been sung there. It is all just vibrations of the highest form of element, sound, song. The spirit is of hearing alone. We might remember that it is this fifth element that makes possible the total connection of the pentagram to the seven palaces. Dara already knows what I am speaking of.

My father told me there has been a wave of sightings across the world.
More than one person has spotted actual Yettis near my house, probably 3-5 miles away. Same basic location, different witnesses and times.
They say that the Yettis are connected with the "normal" sightings, and it is true to an extent, they themselves being what we would have become had we not been genetically enhanced. Not a lot of people know this.
(Or many other things I've spoken of within the past couple of months. Being on the brink of the great divide, where we all must fall or fly into the quickening, my feelings for withholding such information has disappeared.)
Cheers!

I think that the root of music is entrainment, which start with the fetus entraining its heart beat, and brain waves, and nerve impulses in the skin, to that of its mothers.
Simple and symbolic, quite sure... Yet true.
One of my hearttrobs helped out in the production of a fantastic video called. The Heart is a Drum Machine. Used to be availible on youtube and netflix.
Singing has been used for ages in what could be called or concidered the womens mysteries. When a parent is holding a screaming child, and nothing she can do has quelled its screams, an innate sence will compell the parent to shush....( which sounds similiar to the white noise inside the womb) or hum. And it works, hence every culture that we know of has a lullaby, of some sort, the will of the parent manifesting a change, magick.
