Who cares what Los thinks to be perfectly honest,But if I get a dream (and I do a lot of Lucid dreaming, so my unconscious and conscious communicate pretty well) that confirms in terms that are not only unmistakable, but also couched in terms that I had not consciously thought of using, then for me that`s a message that only an idiot would ignore of bother to argue the toss about.

It had occurred to me that it might cause some problem, I suppose the lumbar distortion would have an effect similar to having something lodged halfway down the barrel of a rifle, whereas this would be more like the wet powder effect.

I might try acupuncture for it over the summer actually, I had it on my back once for lower spinal problems and it worked a treat, I went from hobbling about like an old man to fit as a fiddle with no back pain for years after that.

Besides, it would be annoying if some in-built physical flaw prevented me from progressing with the practice, but at least its something physical to work on.

I'd say highly probable.

Learning to listen, and to distinguish the voice from ego-promptings, delusional thoughts and all the other "interference", presents the biggest obstacle.

As you look back through the history of religion and possibly philosophy you start to see 'form' taking shape.

I sort of look at this, like looking at steps or looking at an evolution of gods. From the earliest part of our creation man has been serving gods of wind, lightning, water, air, etc.
At some point all of these gods seemed to be replaced with one god but not truly one god as each belief had it’s one god and still there was many gods among many beliefs or many parts of the truth (light = rainbow)

Truthfully I am not sure where I am headed with this thought, but I feel that all these gods are parts of the highest God and Goddess called self and in worshiping them we worship the part of the self that we don’t understand.

As far as winners are concerned, I have decided to not worry about winning which supposes that I must be the best of what I do according to other people interpretation. I have just decided to do what I do with all intent of learning and understanding, and not worry if it is the best as described by someone else. I believe that it is my trying to understand at my utmost ability that makes me part of the best of all people. When I consider the idea that we are all the best, based on our own understanding then we are all in the same boat. 🆒

Pappa Legba or Ellegua In Voodoo/Yoroba/santeria (not sure of the fine details on that side) He is (the family of) Eshu... He meets you at the crossroads and can deliver your messages to other spirits, guide you on what spirit you may need to get in contact with, and bring messages back from them also... He likes a contribution, black coffee, a handfull of sweets, rum flavoured cigars, white rum to drink, tobbacco...i'm sure many others...
His Catholic Counterpart is St. Peter (all catholic saints were taken directly from haitan voodoo, the voodoo deities consider these their "mask" as many slaves were still able to worship thier gods "directly" through this imagry and be undetected)

Its funny... the voodoo veves... you see a patern and maybe some sort of stick figure..but he DOES come to you, from the crossroads, and converses with you somewhat telepathy wise... I like him a lot, i'm drawn my own rendition of him and have to get the painting in circulation as soon as i've converted the sketch to oils. He wears a FINE hat and holds a walking stick and a FINE suit.

yknow i walked into Oshun's a day or two ago.. right before reading the above post after i awoke lol... when i realised my own thoughts were distorting the picture i just..well...didnt use that part of me to continue and it become very realistic....smiles.. i left her a gold gown and some purfume, and then filled her cuboards with ingrediants (She was Shongo's favourite wife because of her lovely cooking lol, amongst other things. - if you want to know about her i found a great link yesterday and put it over in genrel discusion today)... holding the images is hard but i find if i take my sweet time about it (ie smoothing out the wrinkles in the gown i'd placed on the bed) then the surroundings come by themselves....or i like to think so!!! ...if they can help me in my world..i'd like to bless them in thiers smiles i love your theory on it!
