So, on this note, let me ask a question or series of questions that refer more to the practical side of the issue:
Say, for instance, there is a particular individual (definitely not me) who is absolutely at the end of their resources: broke, in debt, homeless, pretty much utterly down and out. All efforts at resolution/negotiation have failed. What would be a good Last Resort Magical Strategy for the resolution of said issues? Any particular Rituals or Planetary Energies I should get in touch with? This particular individual is pretty much dead in the water... The Cosmic S.O.S. either didn't reach the right people or was outright ignored due to some kind of karmic situation.
Usually this individual is too proud to admit defeat but at this point a little advice would be cool. 😄"

I have been in this situation with people whom seemingly are at the bottom.

One of the things that has helped me in these times are the archetypal analogies presented in mythology.

One of the most powerful mythological stories is about Persephone and Hades. I have had some wonderful results in these situations by enacting these stories, relating them and bringing them to life so to speak.

The Queen of the Dead is such by Her Virtue of Rebirth. She hears all Prayers and deals Justice, wether it be by Mercy, or Severity.
I am sure that you are equipt to know how to petition Her, but if you would like some specifics I can give more details.

It reminds me of when I was younger, and (back then) a religious conservative. Every now and then, I would demand "God" do something for me. It was an unusual attitude fir me to take. But invariably it worked.

One day, when I was unemployed, I went to bed saying, "I've served you, and now I'm stuck. You owe me. I'm broke, and I need a job tomorrow."

The next morning, the phone rang. I got a job interview, and was hired.

I didn't have any money for food until after my first paycheck, so I went to bed, praying with the same attitude. The next day a friend came up to me and said, "I've been thinking, you probably need some cash to get you through the next few weeks" (though I hadn't said anything to anyone about my situation). He pulls a check out of his pocket and hands it to me.

It's a reminder to me how life changes based on how we face it. There is success, and will, and action. And they have nothing to do with doubt, fear, being "right", etc.

Yes. Absolutely distinct and individual. They may work together, but they are individual and are approached as individuals.

"Are you saying that the Caminos and the Orishas are different beings here? That happen to work together, but are not fused?"

Each Orisha is it's own territory. The Yetziratic Caminos are separate and distinct within the realm of each Orisha, acting as envoys. The Caminos have their own likes and dislikes and can operate independently from the Orisha itself.

"I agree with the former, so I would ask, why shouldn't an entity be briatic and a hive mind?"

A hive mind is a lower Yetziractic quality, and the Orishas themselves are purely Briatic by their manifestation. Even the caminos are not worker bees, they have their own distinct personalities that one must experience in order to understand. Ultimately, the camino will behave in accordance to the Orisha, but they may communicate and be more sympathetic to an initiate than the particular Orisha.

Although most "mediums" who hold those types of "seances" really don't know how to induce possession. More than likely they learned the technique from a family tradition. Although dance may lower the inhibitors that induce possession, most people in the modern world have so many inhibitors dance may not be enough to allow for possession. There are very specific dances that are meant to open the spiritual channels of the body, but those take time to learn and still are 100% fool proof.

Your ancestors "dance" all spirits move and have behavior that deals with their class and "order." The Dead dance, especially when they are agitated or have a message to give. The ancestors (for the most part) are part of your Nephesh and they have a more primal and sexual nature, most of the time they will gyrate there hips in a sexual way (even if they were inhibited in life!). My grandfather was a military man, very uptight, and yet, when he shows up he is telling jokes smiling and very "loose."

Some sources on the internet will say that you should find a way that is suited to your ancestors, and to that I have to say: bunk. Ancestral veneration was a strongly maintained tradition in the Caribbean, and to tell the truth, most black who come from those traditions don't want to share their knowledge with white people. I know that fact firsthand, being a white houngan and all. (Luckily, I'm not out for acceptance. lol)

But back on track: Try the methods I've outlined at the beginning of this thread and see for yourself. See how you feel after doing service for a while. Keep a record like any other magical act and ask yourself if you are seeing more positive outcomes in your life. Watch your dreams. Are you sleeping better? More rested when you wake? Your meditations should become deeper as you progress, and your intuition should improve as well.

A little light and libation goes a long way.
