Dare I say...that Crowley should have used the Ritual of Invisibility and acquired the Stele directly after receiving the Book of the Law...and that perhaps said Stele is the rock upon which a Thelemic heirarchy might be established?

At one point in my life I realized that the primary source of manifestation came to me through other people. I'd been so often frustrated that it worked this way, I didn't want to feel obligated or whatever. But realizing that and allowing it changed a bit how I felt about people and relationships (and learning to 'accept').

Why not ask others for advice on a forum? Is it different than asking in someone's living room? Or is it just a moratorium about asking for advice, ideas or guidance?

I'm not attacking you here, they're serious questions, I'm just interested in the reasoning.

I would do a simple thaumaturgic ritual, since the moon is newly waxing, and charge that with orgasm as 'gnosis' in the Peter Carroll sense. Seems simplest, and the presence of tangible results will turn her on to further workings.

I can't really judge that remotely. I'd say give it at least twice as long as you think you need 😀

Undersatnding that I'm limited by only knowing you on a forum, if you nonetheless want some sort of guidelines, I'll take an educated guess: Give at least give 30-60 days on the mixed practices, and six months without the drugs. (That's how long it takes for the body and psyche to stabilize into a change after a full commitment to do so.)

Use the time to get actively invested - actively doing more stuff - in the rest of your life.

Well, it's the Native American/Shamanistic concept of Earth, Air, Fire and Water. In this ritual i find it unnecessary to invoke spirits by name, giving thanks to the elements and the four winds is plenty.

I think a lot of this issue has to do with black-and-white type of thinking. It's one thing to want more wealth because you "only" have 3 million in the bank and your country club friends bust your balls because of it... it's another thing because you are sharing a cramped studio apartment, you can't hold down work, and can't afford new shoes.

I think wealth should be aimed for, but it's really about getting to a place where you're comfortable and can do what you want to do relatively easily. This could mean totally different things for different people from different backgrounds.

Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.
