Yes, but Crowley's Thoth Tarot specifically labels 7 planets, 12 zodiac signs and 5 elements in the Major Arcana. My question was why he decided to label the 5 elements coming to to 24 symbols instead of 3 Alchemical symbols coming to exactly 22 symbols?

The magician has a man's view
The mystic has a god's view
Choose your system well

Its all the same story really, I don't think it really matters which system you use, just go with whatever resonates with you.
Have you read "the book of balance and harmony"? translated by Thomas Cleary, its well worth a good look.

Thanks, JPF, for the comment. TheSilent1, you are right about the wand. I guess the only true way to know the elements is to ask them myself i.e. do magick. I just have to get the balls for that. 😜 In the end, Nature (or how'd you call it) is your only guide.

Well, they weren't intended to be yoga instructions. They're symbols, not pictures.

Good to see other people here interested in Dzogchen. I am writing here so that I can find this later and think about it more... The Art and Universe of trekcho and thodgal are interesting parallels, but the only thing I notice is that it is more confusing when symbolized. The experience afterward being "Tiphareth?" Well, I don't know about that, but I do know it feels great. Never met my HGA, only the inner guru (who did not speak to me or even remotely come close, as it would be thoroughly pointless).

I do not know if Thelema has any rites for the Merkaba, but my friends and I have come up with a way in which we can build our Merkaba with out doing the mudra's and pranayama that Drunvalo teaches. We did start out following his teachings but discovered that as a bunch of ladies we had much better results after some chakra balancing/clearing, and then connecting through our hearts to our feminine nature. The Merkaba has been used by indeginious peoples with out all the pomp and tools. we found that most of the actions were just tools to train the mind and heart, and once the conditioning had taken place, were not needed. Sort of like how a witch, at first needs a wand, and a pentacle, a cup ect to cast a spell, but over time no longer needs them.

In fact just last week, I actually had a fabulous dream in which I was at superhero training headquarters and was taught how to spin, like a top and then travel, shapeshift, or transmute! Very awsome, and just like the star tetrahedron spinning!!

I love Drunvalo! I know he is a tad off, but well I am grateful for his teachings, they have complimented my life very well, and I recommend his books, and youtube videos.

And so my attributions are correct because they agree with Levi and the Tibetan Buddhist tradition. The element change is shown in the pictures. It is impossible to make the same conclusions with the GD IHVH being Fire, Water, Air, Earth so GD is incorrect. The correct IChVH, as Levi writes, is Air, Earth, Water, Fire. Am I making myself clear?

It seems Case adopts the straight tarotic order that I have too. Dion Fortune's attributes are pretty weird. Ross Nichols has Sahasrara as Binah/Saturn and just goes down the Tree.

I wouldn't mind knowing the sources for Cases and the "traditional" attributions, if anyone knows what books they are in.

Any idea on the word on the line connecting fire and air? This is what I found about the others:

Going from right to left horizontally we have Adam (ADM) and Eve (HVH). Levy says that primal Adam is represented by hebrew Yod, so by adding it to HVH we get tetragrammaton, magical formula of Creation, and unification of the sun and moon, masculine and feminine again. On the line connecting fire and spirit there is the word PChD, fear, the name of Geburah.

I think the last word is KPR, but am not familiar with possible meaning.

The proof would be in the pudding regardless...I would get experimental with it & document the results on each occasion.
For me, a seperation band would alter the symbol with new implications...rather than demark a 2nd Tattwa of the same color I think it might appear to me more as the Tattwa with something foreign running through it.
I'd go with either visualizing them intersecting on an axis(one verticle & one horizontal) or alotting 2 different colors all together like indigo on violet or indigo on black...
