To get back to the OP's question... there really aren't any lineages of the A.'.A.'. for the order is one and every member can trace their line back to Crowley, the head of the Order. Even according to the Book of the Law he is the sole authority on Thelema and the A.'.A.'. As such though there are several broken links in the chain.

Crowley's reference to charlatans in One Star in Sight was in reference to the then recently expelled C.F. Russell who went on to found the Great Brotherhood of God, aka the Choronzon Club, wherein he claimed to be presenting a short cut to initiation. Whether Russell was a charlatan as a magician is not the issue, Crowley was under the belief that Russell was still presenting himself as a representative of the A.'.A.'. and that was the issue.

The broken links I refer to are people who were expelled by Crowley but continued the work or people who were lost in the shuffle when their superior had resigned/been expelled etc. Another factor in this "broken chain" affair is that in a lot of cases most members of the A.'.A.'. never officially passed beyond Probationer, let alone Neophyte or Zelator. In this I am referring to those who held onto the flame of the order following Crowley's death and the disorganization that occurred in the following years under Karl Germer. He was just as lax in his running of the A.'.A.'. as he was the OTO. Even Germer's primary student never technically passed beyond Neophyte, but claimed the Zelator grade shortly before Germer's death. I think the only initiation Germer mentioned outright was Phyllis Seckler's 5=6 status and then that was a reference to being under her HGA's guidance.

So the various "lineages" exist because of the fracturing of the order under leadership that was not ready, nor willing, to bear that responsibility. It was a time where dormancy was probably best as well, cultivating a small group that would bear greater fruit in the next generation when the world might be ready. Germer I think did what was necessary with what he was given.

There are several people out there with legitimate links to the A.'.A.'. in the sense of they signed Oaths & Tasks under people who signed Oaths & Tasks that go back to Crowley but the authority of the A.'.A.'. itself as a formal organization? As a working hierarchy with a direct link to the Secret Chiefs of the order? Well, that is debateable. I have my own opinion on that issue but I tend to keep it to myself. I know who I feel is the head of the Order on the material plane based on what I have seen & read.

Many C/K/Qabalists also build up theory based on the idea that the Tree(s) have changed. I don´t know really if Crowley meant that the change of Tzaddi and what it further implies is something that came along with the new Aeon or something that he would argue was wrong from the beginning of that specific map.

However, many other have had the idea that for instance the instance called "The Fall" changed the Tree(s) drastically, for instance creating Malkuth that was not there before and reattributing some paths.

This is discussed in Gerschom Scholems books, for instance KABBALAH, and Thomas Karlssons "Qabalah, Qliphoth and Goetic Magic".

Well, Froclown, if we play fast and loose with numbers, then numbers can say anything, and there is no consensus reality.... 😆 😉

We all have t figure out what we are, what we're here for, and what we are going to do. Your place is your place, and I don't seek to take that from you. If it be your view, cool. There are literally thousands of ways to promulgate the Law. The greeting is one of the most blunt and sometimes effective ways but that sometimes leaves one unfulfilled in a sense that the setting is usually not right for an in depth conversation.

I personally have set up a study/discussion group and have fliered for it in the surrounding areas, book stores and occult shops. I also leave cards in the 'magical studies' sections in larger book stores. Then each meeting is started with an explanation of the principals and general outline of Thelema and Crowley.

Other than that the College in my area has a radio station and a friend of mine does a show on it. We are planning a show where we will discuss Thelema and on there I'll mention the group.

Like I said, thousands of ways.

Compare to Crowley's statement concerning the same in Ch. 0 of Magick In Theory & Practice:

In the number Seven the feminine nature is again predominant, but it is the masculine type of female, the Amazon, who is balanced in the number Eight by the feminine type of male."

That's expressed especially in the Magical Images of the Sephiroth.

93, Thank you, to all ya'll. I've been tinkering with this Tree off and on for several years, more as an exercise on creativity and just something to do. The first thing I more than recognize is not replacing the Tree, nor improving. This was, nor is not, ever the intention. I find today's Tree quite beautiful. I have had fun with it, though, and I'd say it's rather symetrical, though the placement of the Paths only has meaning in certain places. It will likely peter out of my mind too. Just a curiosity.

The Greek connection in Rose's use of the letter C is further cemented and elaborated upon by the Linear A inscriptions discovered at Knossos in Crete, which mention the goddess Nia, who is regarded as consonant with Neith and Nut/Nuit.

And as Nuit adjures us "Nothing is a secret key to this law. Sixty-one the Jews call it (AIN); I call it eight, eighty, four hundred & eighteen." Thus AIN/NIA are to be identified with the goddess. "I am the Lord of the Double Wand of Power; the wand of the Force of Coph Nia--but my left hand is empty, for I have crushed an Universe; & nought remains." Nought indeed - the Return we all seek after! The Force is that of the Limitless Nothing, Nuit.

The Greek Isopsephia of Coph Nia = 831 = phallos is particularly eye opening as it reinforces the double wand symbolism as the magickal weapon of this Limitless Force. I believe Paul Foster Case was right on the money in his Wand image for the BOTA Tarot, with a clear rhomboid crystal on one end and a black one on the the other, and all of the allusions to the Union of Opposites it engenders.

Magick is the intent and choice to transform one's life, by affecting change.

Tonight we had our first snow of the season in Westminster. It is beautiful.

My first initial response upon looking outside an hour ago was: "Now this is magick!"

Mescaline promotes a visionary state of consciousness - much more so than hashish or heroin(though mescaline & hashish both elevate one to the same plane[Hod/Netzach]). The only visionary experience capable of being induced by heroin is the body's withdrawal therefrom - & the visions are, in almost all cases, nightmarish(see William S. Burroughs' book Junky for an example of the visions induced by heroin withdrawal). Mescaline OTOH promotes intense visions & revelations of a high & ecstatic calibre...I would only think it natural that 666 might prefer the mescaline trance to that of heroin - plus, mescaline is not addictive...on the contrary - after a really good mescaline trip you most likely will not want to do it again for a long, long time.

BTW, I don't see how 666's favoring mescaline has anything to do with crystal skulls...he most likely would have scoffed at the idea of a physical object being inherantly magical beyond man's endowing it with such value...I know I do 🙄

Crystal skulls fall in the same category as ritual tools. Ritual tools are instruments & as such they have instrumental value concerning magick, i.e., they are useful as a means to magick but are not intrinsically 'magical', IMHO.
